The Flow Through Wanakena
The Flow Through Wanakena is an abstract photography series. This series explores natural patterns found on the water surface as it flows from the Oswegatchie River into Cranberry Lake. I hope that sharing this series might encourage visitors to pause and reflect on the fragile beauty of our waterways. The images are displayed as large fabric wall hangings. The images hang in such a way that the fabric flows with the air current. With this exhibit, I invite the viewer to reflect on how the flow affects our lives, both spiritually and physically. The connections that we share with the water and with nature in general. What it says to us, where it takes our thoughts. The silence or sounds that come to mind, memories that it evokes.
